Podcast: Covid-19 shocks in rural and urban Africa

The Future Rural Africa podcast, is a research series by the Collaborative Research Center that discusses how future making interventions shape people’s way of life, their aspirations and their interaction with their environment. In this particular episode, we discuss the preliminary results of our current COVID-19 research being carried out in Tanzania, Kenya, Namibia and Zambia. Measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 infections, such as lockdowns, curfews, travel restrictions have had immense effects to social relations. But just how diverse are these effects being felt in the rural areas in comparison to urban centers?
