Future Rural Africa Researcher Jonathan M. Jackson Selected to Participate in “Frontiers of Knowledge” Symposium

Jonathan Jackson (CRC-TRR Project A02 Past Futures) has been selected as one of fifteen early career researchers selected from institutions throughout Germany to participate in Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and British Academy ‘Frontiers of Knowledge’ Symposium in Berlin, 5–7 June 2024. The theme of this year’s symposium is “Natures, Cultures, and Communities” and Jackson will present ongoing CRC-TRR 228 research at the event.

Fifteen selected early career researchers from UK institutions will also participate in the symposium, which aims to incentivise and establish international engagement and collaboration between early career researchers from British and German institutions from a broad range of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, encouraging the exchange of ideas across both disciplinary and national boundaries.
