Postdoc-Programme For Female Researchers With Family Responsibilities (“Kopf frei”)

The new call for the female Postdoc-Programm “Kopf Frei” in the framework of the Female Professors Programme for the year 2022 is now published. Applications for funding in the winter semester 2022/2023 can now be submitted until 15.04.2022. Find the call for applications with all relevant information here. The aim of the programme is to increase the career opportunities of female postdocs and junior professors with family responsibilities at the University of Cologne (UoC) by relieving them of different tasks in teaching, in the academic self-administration or by supporting them in their research (e.g. in third-party fundraising). Funds will be granted for the employment of a teaching substitute or a research assistant.Eligible for application are female postdoctoral researchers and junior professors, with at least one child up to the age of 12 years resp. 6th grade or younger or with care responsibilities.

More information about our body of work on gender-related themes is accessible here. The call is also available in german language here.
