In der ersten Ausgabe von 2023 berichtet das Potsdamer Universitätsmagazin “Portal” über die Arbeit des Sonderforschungsbereiches (SFB-TRR 228) ”Future Rural Africa” und insbesondere über das Teilprojekt A01 “Future Carbon Storage”, das sich mit der Zukunftsgestaltung im ländlichen Afrika, vor allem im Bezug auf Kohlenstoff, befasst. Dabei untersuchen die Forscher*innen auch wie sich Umweltschutz und Agrarintensivierung miteinander vereinbaren lassen.
